Indeed, in the sphere of Java programming the cited theme has been so far deemed ancillary. The text stands out for its clarity, rigour and simplicity. The first part of the book illustrates, quite simply, the Java Reflection in terms of introspection. The following sections explain the Java Reflection in terms of intercession: analysis is made of techniques that can be used in order to change the class behaviour. Although the authors appear absolutely convinced about their own techniques, they constantly warn the reader about potential pitfalls. Due to the integration between Java Reflection and Pattern Programming, the text is particularly interesting and rich of implications.
