The aim of Hibernate quickly consists of minimize the learning time of Hibernate,
introducing gradually the reader to Hibernate 3,
the book realizes very well its objective, in a simple and clear way.
It illustrates the foundations and the advance configurations of Hibernate 3,
which problems resolve and in which situations it comes in aid.
It comes shown step after step like creating the environment
of development using Ant, from the simple build to the execution of the tests,
to the generation of the tables with the tools present in the Hibernate distribution.
Entire chapters are dedicates to integration of
Hibernate with Spring, Struts, Tapestry, WebWork , XDoclet, with
practical examples always present for every argument.
A chapter it is dedicated it to the explanation and the use
of the new feature of Hibernate 3, while an other
it is dedicated to the complete guide
of the mapping available in Hibernate, always supplying with
practical examples of good programming.
A book suggested to the newbies of Hibernate
and it wants fastly to be productive,
and also to who it wants to pass from Hibernate 2 to version 3,
or to who it needs of having
a fast and simple guide to the configurations of Hibernate 3.
