Ieri, mentre il mio HTC Magic era in stand-by, ho ricevuto una telefonata. Il telefono ha iniziato a squillare, ma stranamente il display non s’e’ illuminato. Sbloccandolo manualmente (come se non ci fosse alcuna telefonata in arrivo e lo stessi solo riattivandolo dallo stand-by), ho avuto questa piacevole sorpresa: l’applicazione com.android.phone (ovvero… IL TELEFONO!) era [...] .....

Changing Endpoint Address in JAX-WS Web Service Clients

Using JAX-WS in Java to build a Web Service client starting from WSDL causes wsimport tool to generate all the required code artifacts useful to invoke the Web Service operations.
The generated code refers by default to the WSDL URL from which the client artifacts were generated; this is a comfortable solution in many cases but:
how to change the endpoint address if we want the client to invoke the same service deployed at another URL?

A solution is to use the javax.xml.ws.BindingProvider class.

Finalmente e’ arrivato (fate un check anche voi sul pannello impostazioni!) l’OTA update per Android 2.0.1 su Motorola Milestone. Peccato che il device sia ancora “obsoleto”, perche’ Android corre gia’ sulla 2.1… vabbe’, per ora mi accontento… .....

In the last few months I worked on a mobile website project, which needed to render fine on a wide range of devices.
The most common approaches to this kind of work are usually three:
